I got myself a job! Kinda.
It's fun.
I get to do something I love to do.
I get paid well, considering what I'm doing.

Meet: My job.
GRACE!
She's so precious.
Anyways. Thought I'd share.
GOING TO THE ZOO TODAY!
Picturess hopefully soon.
So people talk about making the biggest mistake of their lives.
My parents tell me "I made some pretty big mistakes when I was about your age..."
We get told what and what not to do so we can stay away from mistakes.
The biggest mistake I've ever made...
Buying this phone.
I HATE IT.
Yeah, it sure looks cool.
And without all its imperfections, it would be an awesome phone. But isn't that the case with all phones?
MY HISTORY WITH THIS PHONE:
Sometime in July of '09: FELL IN LOVE WITH IT ONLINE
Aug 26: Happy birthday present:]
A few weeks later: Starts acting up- touch sensors go off randomly, phone restarts itself at least once a day.
Dec of '09: Screen display split in half, looks like it's covered in ant races, half of the phone display is upside down and backwards.
I send in for a replacement.
A few weeks after receiving replacement: Touch sensors start going off randomly again. Phone restarting itself again.
Apr of '10: Phone screen will flash off for a MERE SECOND when any amount of pressure is on the top half of the phone. i.e., when I hit SEND.
May of '10: Screen stays turned off for hours at a time, but the phone itself will function. I can call people by voice command and even text someone if it's super important and I'm willing to take the time to guess at what I'm doing. When the screen is on, the phone restarts itself almost every time I slide it closedd.
I send in for a replacement.
JULY 14, 2010: EXACTLY THREE WEEKS AFTER I RECEIVE MY SECOND REPLACEMENT PHONE.. I'll slide my phone open and the screen either goes completely white or it looks like someone hit a recolor button and then saturate on my phone cause it's full of bright pink, whites, and neon greens.
that. is. not. normall.
Luckily Enough my great friend Andrew is very willing to lend me one of his old phones until my one year upgrade point which is my happy birthday, August 26th.
YEAH. It hasn't even been a year.
Anyways, onto another tangent.
I very much want to go to EFY this summer, but seeing as I don't have 400 bucks lying around, I probably will not.
However, I made up a song this morning to mourn my not being able to.
To be sung to the tune of "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy.
EFY
I wanna go to EFY so freaking bad,
Make a bunch of friends I never had.
I wanna live in the dorm rooms of Utah State University,
Learn about the Gospel for a week.
But every time I ask my mom,
She says I can't cause I don't have a job.
All my friends are going and it's just not fair, oh why,
Why can't I be there?
At Logan EFY.
Oh-oh, Oh-oh
At Logan EFY...
OH, also. I had this thought the other day when I went in for an eye exam.
"Hmm..." I thought. "I'm gonna make sure to marry an eye doctor."
I even made it my facebook status.
yeah. I call that official.
Then, the other day, I was thinking while at my brother's baseball game..
"Why do I have to marry an eye doctor?? What if I BECAME an eye doctor??"
Which, If you think about it, is a very random decision.
My whole life I've thought "I'm gonna be a teacher. I would just love it a lot."
MY WHOLE LIFE. LITERALLY.
But thinking about this eye doctor business.
I've been dealing with eye problems.. practically since birth.
[I have a scar on my eye from surgery at 11 months old.]
And, I don't know if this has anything to do with my Strabismus deal, but I have a major need of contacts.
My drivers license even says I can't drive without having my contacts in or glasses on.
My left eye is far-sighted and my right eye is near-sighted, and I have astigmatism in both.
Eyes have always fascinated me because it has always been a point of difficulty.
So, I figure..
Optometry would be cool...
Why Not?
With all of the forthcoming graduation exercises, I've had a few things pop into my head.
FIRST.. I'm going to be a senior next year. Yes indeed, the one year that every high school student spends grade school and junior high dreaming about. And may I just say? It's going to be the BOMB.
SECOND.. Being a senior means that I only have ONE MORE YEAR until I graduate.
From seminary.
And high school.
Meeeehhhh.
THIRD.. My dear, darling, awesome, coolio, legit, superb, and fantastic best friend Roni will not be at school with me next year.
Don't get me wrong! I'm so happy for her and I hope for the best for her for her whole lifetime, but she's going to leave me with the imbeciles that I call my schoolmates with only Alexis and Justin as a comfort.
I guess the occasional somebody else will help too.
Anyways, here's some pictures of my DDACLSFBF Roni's graduation-ness.
